So we begin each project by comparing and contrasting the brand with direct, and indirect competitors, to get a feel for the things that make the brand unique.

We look at the relevance of these things. We ask why a certain aspect of the brand is interesting to people, and why it might be important. And, in this way, bit by bit, we close in on the most motivating, and exciting, aspects of the brand.

And it's in this space — where difference and relevance are high — that we focus our creative efforts. We're after ideas that play to the brand's strengths; good ideas that inspire activity — across media.

We love typography. We know our Baskervilles from our Bodonis, and Akzidenz from Arial. We like to see a ligature. We like a good grid system. We like our words well-set — not just well-written.
